Get Ready to Rumble (approx. 50% TGP)

  • Head-to-Head Swish format warm-up tournament
  • Player order is as shown on Matchplay
  • Winner submits the result
  • Byes counts as half a win
  • No round started after 23:30
  • No playoffs for ties
  • No finals

     

    Saturday 

    Main tournament qualification - IFPA Certified event and ECS qualifier (120% TGP)

    09:00 - 18:00 Qualifications

    • The player will select and play 1 game on 12 different machines of player’s own choice out of a bank of 20 machines.
    • The 12 games must be started between 9:00 and 18:00 on Saturday.
      No games can be started after 18.00, a game started prior can be finished.
    • If for any reason a player has not played all 12 games at the end of the qualification, the remaining games will be given a score of 0.
    • The individual machines are ranked, and players are given a score on all machines they have played.
    • The scores are then accumulated across all machines to determine the players final score and final ranking order of the qualification.
    • The top 32 players will proceed to the finals, all remaining players are out of the tournament.
    • All ties will be determined by most machines won in the qualification, then most 2nd places, then 3rd, and so forth until the tie has been resolved.
    • The final tiebreaker will be IFPA world rank.
    • Players are divided into the final rounds based on their qualification rank.

     

    Side tournament (100% TGP)

    09:00 - 18:00 Qualification

     

    • The player will select and play 1 game on 8 different machines of player’s own choice out of a bank of 14 machines.
    • The 8 games must be started between 9:00 and 18:00 on Saturday.
    • No games can be started after 18.00, a game started prior can be finished.
    • If for any reason a player has not played all 8 games at the end of the qualification, the remaining games will be given a score of 0.
    • The individual machines are ranked, and players are given a score on all machines they have played.
    • The scores are then accumulated across all machines to determine the players final score and final ranking order of the qualification.
    • The top 32 players will proceed to the finals, all remaining players are out of the tournament.
    • All ties will be determined by most machines won in the qualification, then most 2nd places, then 3rd, and so forth until the tie has been resolved.
    • The final tiebreaker will be IFPA world rank.

    18:00 - 19:00 Dinner break

    (Plenty of food can be found in the area)

     

    19:00 Side tournament finals 

    Final Rounds

    • Players from top 32 will play in groups of four on 3 randomly selected machines.

      Scoring: 4-2-1-0

    • Start order for the first game, is the highest seed from the qualification decides their start order first. Then second highest determines their start order second and so on.

    • Start order for the remaining games, is decided first by the loser of the previous game. Then the second to last player determines their start order and so on.

    • Two players are eliminated from each group per round.

    • This will continue until we have the final four, who will also play 3 machines in the final.

    • All ties will be determined by the qualification rank, except for the first place in the final, where there will be a rematch, in case of a tie.

     

    Saturday Night Live Frenzy (not 100% TGP)

    (For those who did not make playoffs in the Side tournament and still want more pinball)

    19:30 - Flip Frenzy

    • 3 hours of play

    • Play order as shown in Matchplay.

    • Winner submits results immediately.

    • Player 1 gets a new opponent and machine.

    • Player 2 gets put in the queue.

    • Top 4 advances to the final on 3 randomly selected machines.

    • Ties decided by fewest losses.

    • If ties cannot be resolved, a tiebreaker will be played.

     

    Sunday 

    (Lunch break around 13:00 -will be announced)

    09:00 - approx. 19:00 Main tournament playoffs

    • The top 32 players play heads-up best of 5 random machines.

    • Start order for the first game, is the highest seed from the qualification decides start order.

    • Start order for the remaining games, is decided by the loser of the previous game

    • The winning player will move on until we have the winner of the Danish Pinball Open.

    • Playoff for 3rd/4th place.

     

    09:30 - approx. 18:00 One last chance tournament (100% TGP)

     

    • We will play 10 rounds of group play.
      Each round is played in 4 player groups on 1 randomly selected machine.

    • Playing order is as shown on Matchplay.

    • Scoring: 4-2-1-0

    • All ties will be determined by most 1st. places, then most 2nd, then 3rd.

    • The final tiebreaker will be IFPA world rank.

    • Top 4 will play a 4 player final on 3 randomly selected machines.

    • There will be a tiebreaker played for first place in the final 4.

    • Start order for the first game in the final is as shown on Matchplay.

    • Start order for the remaining games, is decided first by the loser of the previous game. Then the second to last player determines their start order and so on.

    • All ties will be determined by the qualification rank, except for the first place in the final, where there will be a rematch, in case of a tie.

      Note! Rounds may be cut to keep tournament within schedule.
